you andersen girls are too clever for your own good!! :) seriously, these are the cutest things i've seen in my entire life.

fall is my FAVORITE and i love every single thing about it - our "birthday season" begins in october, followed by halloween, followed by more birthdays, thanksgiving, and christmas. what's not to like about that? as for a specific fall memory, i am going with last year:

i begged my doctor to induce me on oct. 29 so that i could be home for halloween. i was actually hoping we'd go home after 1 night, but simon had some lung problems at birth and we had to stay 2 nights. i woke up on the 31st SO READY TO GO HOME and the doctor came in first thing to tell me that simon had jaundice and he'd have to be re-tested in the afternoon before we could be released. i was so sad, sat there crying, wanted to get home to my kids on halloween! so we sat around all day and finally at about 6pm his test came back fine and we were allowed to leave. they've never seen anyone boogie out of there so fast, i'm sure! we scooted home and there were my parents in full raggety ann & andy costumes (the real deal!) and my kids in their costumes. everything seems surreal when you come home with a baby, but the costumes just added to that! chris immediately left with the kids to trick or treat, but they came back just a few minutes later. maya said she wasn't feeling well. i put her in the bath tub, she threw up and i put her to bed. she only made it to one house! mason and chris went around to a few houses and he came home dragging and went to bed. i spend the rest of the evening staring at my 2 day old baby and answering the door for trick or treaters. i'll never forget that halloween! :)

and if i don't win for randomness, i should win for longest comment ever!!!

Britta,

Cute clips... I would love those clips, but I don't think Anthony would appreciate them if I put them in James's hair. I love fall. One of my recent favorites is when James was born so close to Halloween and you all brought pumpkin slipper shoes for James to the Hospital. I am leaving a comment so that you know I saw these and think they are adorable. You don't have to include me in the drawing so it gives a chance for someone who has a girl or girls can win it. Cute stuff. Love those clips.

Yes PLEASE! One of my favorite Halloween memories is when I dressed up like Rose Mofford a political figure in AZ at the time. I got to wear fake fingernails and a beehive wig!

Hello! I am visiting from your sister's site where I learned about your clippie giveaway. I have been looking for cute clips for my 1 1/2 year old daughter and yours are adorable!!!

I don't quite remember it, but I have seen pictures from one of my first experiences with digging the seeds out of the pumpkin. I was up to my elbows in that gooey mess and was thrilled about it!

Thanks for having a giveaway!

So cute! Love them! My favorite memory for Halloween is the year I decided to go as a box of dish soap. I got a cardboard box and worked very hard for a few weekends getting it painted to look like the real thing. I was very proud of it because it was my idea and I did the work myself!
I'm having a little girl (any day now!) and can't wait to learn to make bows for her!

I have honestly never seen clips as cute as those. Wow. And I have two girls!

My favorite halloween was when I dressed up as a table, with settings for 4. I had random people taking pictures of me and I loved getting all the attention. And, once home, I just sat down still in my costume and everyone ate halloween treats on me. I think I was 10...

Love your clips-my little girl is all about bows and would love these!
Fall is my favorite time of year for many reasons but one of my favorite things about fall is the leaves. As a child I loved to rake a big pile and jump in them but now I love to take a walk through leaves-I love to hear the leaves crunch underneath me!

Such cute bows!

My favorite fall memory is when my mom used to carve little jack-o-lantern faces into my apples for school lunches. Can't wait 'till mine are old enough to do this in their apples!

Those clips are absolutely adorable! They will be perfect for my little niece.

One of my favorite Halloween memories is when me and my brother and sister all dressed up as clowns. I don't remember it, but we have the pictures and they are great!

Very cute! I always loved carving pumpkins. Those were the earliest and best fall memories.

Cute clips! My girls would love 'em.

The first Halloween that pops into mind is my freshman year of college when we went around the neighborhood in the late evening and finished emptying the bowls that were left out on the front porches. :D

But the best so far has been my oldest daughter's first. I dressed her like a lamb and she carried around her favorite toy, Sheepy. It was adorable to watch her walk around in her fuzzy, fat-tummied costume, complete with a floppy tail that wiggled with each step, and floppy ears on her hat. I loved it. She loves watching the videos.

One of my favorite memories is Halloween when my baby sister (16 years separate us) was around 10. I took her Trick 'n Treating and she wore skates. She wanted to walk my very hyper dog (Cocker Spaniel mix) while skating - even though I warned her that might not be a good idea. Well you can imagine what happened - it didn't take long before my sister started whining! I laughed and laughed! I finally took pity on her and walked the dog!

What a lovely giveaway! My favorite fall memories are all from college at U.Va. Just thinking about the smell of fireplaces, the crisp air and the colorful leaves makes me want to cry!

first of all those are adorable clips! If I win I hope it encourages my daughter's hair to actually grow :-P My favorite halloween memory is when I was little kid and my cousins and I would all go trick-or-treating. After we got all our goodies we would go back to my Aunt have pizza and trade each other sweets! SO MUCH FUN!!

Living in Northern Minnesota we get the frost and the changing leaves. My kids and I are always on the look out for the "perfect" leaf. We also love to make things out of the wonderful things we find outside.

This Halloween will be fun because my son wants to be Santa, and my girls are going to be Mrs. Claus and an elf/baby claus! Can't wait to see them all dressed up!!!

You should give it to 100 Percent Cottam lol... I am in Australia and last year was the first proper time we celebrated Halloween as it's not that big over here. Our new neighbours moved over from San Fan with their 2 kiddies and threw the biggest party I have ever seen. My 2 year old boy randomly asks through out the year to "halloween please mummy?!" It;s not Christmas or Birthdays or even The Wiggles it's bloody Halloween. So now I can say next month baby... I just hope my neighbours have a bigger and better party planned this year. There are some big expectations over here now!!

I love you clippies too hehe My little girl probably doesn't have enough hair but soon... hopefully!! hehe and we're having a give away too..YAY

Kara burns : My favorite halloween memory is the first halloween with our little girl. She was tinker bell and all she wanted to do was ring to door bells, she could care less about the candy! IT was great.

those clips are adorable. my favorite halloween memory is from when we were little kids and my parents made dinner in a pumpkin. we were all grossed out and wouldn't eat a single bite. i just think it's funny that none of us even gave it a single chance before we were all disgusted with a pumpkin dinner.

My favorite Halloween/fall memory is walking down the sidewalk that was almost knee deep in fallen maple leaves. I loved shuffling through them, smelling their fragrance, hearing their crunch, and kicking them as high as I could as I was on my way to our neighbors' houses to collect candy. I loved raking the leaves and jumping in them with my cousins. I loved, loved, loved the smell of leaves burning! We don't get to do that anymore.
I have become a follower of your blog. I am a grandmother of 5. I sew for them all the time. I am in the process of making Halloween costumes for them now. Four of my grands are girls so those adorable clippies would be perfect!

I want to win! I remember me and my best friend getting in a fight because we both wanted to be Jasmin for Halloween. We both were! I wore green and she wore pink. She cried about it.

Love your clips, love Fall, love Halloween.

One of my favorite memories happened more than once. My brothers and I with our friends, on rollerblades traveling from house to house as fast as our wheels could carry us. One year we filled 3 full size pillowcases, each. Oh to be 9 again.

I've been following your sister's blog and admiring her creativity....I see it runs in the family. I have a cute little girl that just turned 5 months. Granted she has no hair right now to clip, but she will one day and these clips are too cute.
I would have to say my favorite memory of Halloween is the year my sisters and I decided to create a "haunted yard" for the trick-or-treators. The best idea was when we thought we would tie a rope around my sister's neck and let her jump out of tree to scare people! I'm not sure why we thought that was a good idea. Thankfully, my mother knew of our plans and nixed it real fast. It's brought up every year and we all have a good laugh.

Oh my word, those clips are so sweet!

Fall...I love it. My favorite fall memory would have to be a pretty recent one...the birth of my second daughter last October. What an amazing day! I'm looking forward to making another great memory in a few weeks when we celebrate her first birthday.

I love fall, all the autumn leaves so full of colour. My granddaughter. whom I am raising birthday is October 1 and my son is October 13 so October is a fun month.
